Tion Renewables Acquires Operational 30 MW Onshore Wind Portfolio in Germany from Alterric

Munich, October 31, 2025. Tion Renewables GmbH (“Tion”) acquired an operational 30-megawatt onshore wind portfolio with a 20-year EEG subsidy in Germany from Alterric Deutschland GmbH (“Alterric”).

The turbines, which were constructed and commissioned in 2023 and 2024, have a total capacity of 30 MW and are distributed across four wind farms in Pülfringen (Baden-Württemberg/12.60 MW), Werne-Ost (North Rhine-Westphalia/7.65 MW), Glane (Lower Saxony/4.2 MW), and Zell (Hesse/4.20 MW). The total annual production is expected to amount to around 60 GWh of green electricity.

With the new wind farms, Tion is strategically expanding its German wind portfolio. The attractive EEG tariffs for the plants and the modern Enercon and Vestas turbines are suitable additions to Tion’s portfolio.

“We are delighted that we were able to successfully complete this complex transaction through our professional collaboration with Alterric. This brings us a significant step closer to our growth target of three gigawatts by 2030 and has enabled us to lay the foundation for a long-term partnership with Alterric,” said Martin Lemmer, Tion Renewables’ Investment Director for the German market.

Greencap Partners Ltd. acted as M&A advisor to Alterric.
