Today, the company’s management board, with the consent of the supervisory board decided to increase the company’s share capital by EUR 795,455 to EUR 1,930,455. The company is pleased to have attracted renowned institutional investors as new shareholders. In addition, the successful increase of the free float is a key step to further development the company’s open market listing.
Management board member Dr. Martin Siddiqui stated: “Our first capital increase as a listed stock company has been very well perceived despite the current economic environment. To us, this is nothing but a proof of concept for our business model, our strategy and encourages us to pursue our ambitious growth path.”
The company’s majority shareholder, Pelion Capital GmbH via its fully-owned subsidiary Pe-lion Alpha GmbH, confirmed its commitment as strategic anchor investor with a participation of EUR 10.4 million in this capital increase.
The proceeds of ca. EUR 17.5 million will be used to further grow the company’s onshore wind and photovoltaic portfolio, in particular to finance the recently signed acquisition of eight operational photovoltaic plants in Germany with an installed capacity of 21.2 MW.
Management board member Christoph Strasser added: “This additional financial flexibility will enable us to complement our growth plans with attractive secondary market transactions.
